Apple Pastry

Ingredients: 2 shortcrust pastries (you can do it yourself as well but it will take a little bit longer) Apples, quite "hard" ones if possible; about 4 or 5 (according to your taste) Sugar (I personally like to use brown sugar) Juice of a yellow lemon Cinnamon Butter Some flour An egg yolk A little bit of water Preparation: 1. Cut the apples in slices or dices, as you want. Keep in mind that you'll need to bake them after ! So think about the size of saucepan. 2. Prepare your saucepan. Melt some butter in it, with a little bit of sugar (according to your taste but I don't usually ad a lot, fruits' sugar is enough to me). Gently add your apples; plus the lemon juice, and let it cook on a low fire. 3. Stir your apples time to time so they all cook the same way. Apple Pies Baked in Apples

Ingredients: 4 medium sized apples 1 premade 9 inch pie crust 1.5 tsp cornstarch 1 tbsp water 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/4 cup granulated white sugar 1 egg whisked (for egg wash) Preparation: 1. Slice off tops of apples. Using small sharp knife hollow out the centre of the apples, leaving about 1/4 - 1/2 inch on the sides. Save the flesh for filling. 2. Dice the removed apple flesh into small cubes. You should have about 1 cup worth when you are done. Make sure not to include seeds, skin, or any of the core. 3. Preheat oven 350 degrees F. 4. Dissolve cornstarch in water. 5. In small pot, combine 1 cup of diced apples, cornstarch mixture, cinnamon and white sugar.  6. Buttery Apple Cake

Ingredients: 500 g apples 130 g butter 1 ½ dl wheat flour ½ tsp baking powder ½ tsp salt 2 eggs 1 yolk 3 dl sugar 1 tsp vanilla sugar Preparation: 1. Grease and flour a pie form (diameter about 20 cm) or bake with baking paper. 2. Peel and cut apples into slices of half a centimetre. 3. Heat the butter in a frying pan at mild heat. Take aside 1 dl butter. Fry the apples in the rest of the butter with mild heat for 10 minutes until the slices soften. 4. Mix the flour, baking powder and salt. 5. Whisk eggs, yolk and sugars into a flaky foam with an electric mixer. 6. Mix the dry ingredients and 1 dl of butter lightly into the egg-sugar foam. 7. Finally add the apple cuttings (also the butter with apple cuttings fried) into the dough. Pour the dough into the form. 8. Bake the cake at the bottom of a 180 °C oven for about 40 minutes. 9. Ingredients: Baking mix for apple cake 125 g soft margarine or butter 2 eggs (size M) 220 g applesauce Preparation: 1. Grease and dry the tin mold. 2. Preheat oven (top / bottom heat 180 °C, circulating air about 160 °C). 3. Put the mixture into a mixing bowl, add margarine or butter, eggs and applesauce. 4. Use a blender to make a smooth dough for about 30 seconds at the lowest, then at the highest level. 5. Fill the dough into the tin mold and smooth. 6. Put the mold on the grid in the lower third of the oven. 7. Bake for about 55 minutes. 8. After about 15 minutes baking time, cut the cake with a sharp knife about 1 cm deep lengthwise in the middle. 9.
