Buttery Apple Cake

Ingredients:
500 g apples
130 g butter
1 ½ dl wheat flour
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
2 eggs
1 yolk
3 dl sugar
1 tsp vanilla sugar

Preparation:
1. Grease and flour a pie form (diameter about 20 cm) or bake with baking paper.
2. Peel and cut apples into slices of half a centimetre.
3. Heat the butter in a frying pan at mild heat. Take aside 1 dl butter. Fry the apples in the rest of the butter with mild heat for 10 minutes until the slices soften.
4. Mix the flour, baking powder and salt.
5. Whisk eggs, yolk and sugars into a flaky foam with an electric mixer.
6. Mix the dry ingredients and 1 dl of butter lightly into the egg-sugar foam.
7. Finally add the apple cuttings (also the butter with apple cuttings fried) into the dough. Pour the dough into the form.
8. Bake the cake at the bottom of a 180 °C oven for about 40 minutes.
9. Let the apple cake cool for at least two hours before serving or let it cool overnight in the refrigerator.
10. Sift icing sugar on the cake and offer the apple cake with lightly roasted whipped cream.
