Sunken Apple Cake

Ingredients:
750 g sour apples
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp powdered sugar
40 g sliced almonds
200 g soft butter
200 g sugar
1 packet vanilla sugar
4 eggs
200 g flour
1 tsp baking soda
Butter for the mold

Preparation:
1. Peel apples, quarter them, remove core. Cut apple quarters in a fan shape but don't cut through. Drizzle with lemon juice.
2. Melt powdered sugar without fat, mix in almonds, allow to cool.
3. Preheat oven to 175 ° C top / bottom heat.
4. Grease Springform (26 cm Ø).
5. Beat butter with sugar and vanilla sugar until foamy.
6. Stir in eggs one at a time.
7. Stir in flour and baking powder.
8. Fill the dough into the mold. Arrange apple quarters in a wreath on it. Sprinkle almonds in the spaces between them.
9. Bake in preheated oven for about 45 minutes.
10. Cooled slightly, release from the mold.
